Early morning sunlight falls through the window, playing across the sleeping figures of two bodies twined together.

A bar of light falls across Cuthbert's eyes, and he stirs, rolling over and burying his face in the curve of Susan's shoulder.

That much commala-ing the night before takes it out of a guy.

She makes a soft, sleepy noise and nestles closer, putting her arms around him.

Cuthbert mutters something unintelligible, and brushes his mouth against the side of her neck, without opening his eyes.
