Character: Sora
Fandom: Kingdom Hearts
Personality:
Sora, to some, is the bright sun that shines on all the worlds or the sky that connects them out there. You can tell from how he tends to have a smile on his face alongside putting a lot of energy into anything he does no matter the situation, he'll always give his all in doing all the tasks he set out to do with a smile on his face, even if the situation is bleak, to cheer everyone he knows. Sora is also one who never differentiates between what is human and not-human; he treats everyone he meets as equal no matter the situation. While this might make him seem like an over-friendly person who can't tell the difference between a good or bad person, Sora is capable of telling when one is having a dark/evil disposition towards the others, and thus, be wary of them; most of the times, though, he tends to be quite gullible if the enemy puts on a very convincing facade or lie.

As a traveler between worlds, Sora was advised not to meddle in foreign affairs. Despite that, though, some way or another, he could always be found helping the inhabitants of all the worlds he visited anyways, even if his main task at that time was to clear the Heartless/Nobodies infestation problem and finding his friend/s. This helping tendency was so great that one time, Hades decided to use his naivety in order to get him to open the sealed Underdrome once again, which was accomplished by Hades kidnapping Hercules' girlfriend, prompting Sora, Hercules, Donald and Goofy to save her and inadvertently unlocking the seal in the process. This had the adverse effect of causing the Olympus Coliseum itself to be destroyed by Hades' Hydra due to it being unguarded by the adventures all four of them had went through.

It should also be known that Sora can oftentimes be... quite blunt and dense towards anything that involves royalty as his attitude to Master Yensid as well as Queen Minnie. To make a long story short, he was scolded by his travel buddies by just walking up in front of them and saying "Hey!" as opposed to bowing, which is usually the customary action one must do when meeting these kinds of people. Another thing of note is... Sora's latent capability, or rather, incapability of working with technology, as he came from a world where computers are not that popular yet, his trip to the world of Space Paranoid (Tron) is the epitome of that. While he did learn the basics, don't expect him to do some hacking or proper computer filtering anytime soon unless someone taught him in a very simplified manner.

He is also a fierce protector of his friends, as one of the things he hated the most is losing his friends; this characteristic is what pushed him to find Kairi and Riku in the first game. Despite being lost in an unknown place, and having just learned of the existence of other worlds that he and his friends wanted to explore badly, he nevertheless put the safety of his friends above his innate curious desire to go see all the worlds. In fact, he is very willing in risking his own life to save others, as his job isn't exactly full sunshine and rainbows, which entails defeating mostly the forces of darkness that threatens to consume all the worlds, as well as former humans who seek their lost Hearts, as they were merely shells of their whole selves. This trait is taken to the extremes when Sora sacrificed his Heart (soul) in order to save one of those very friends he was seeking, while he did get better, it did show that Sora will go to any lengths possible in order to save or protect his friends by any means he finds necessary.

Underneath all the smiles he gives, as well as his cheerful demeanor though, lies a boy who was forced to grow up through circumstances, as well as the events and the responsibilities he endured throughout his whole journey. While at first this was not apparent, the pressure of being the Worlds' savior and protector, as well as finding his all-important friend began to wear down on him, as the Kingdom Hearts II showed; Sora tends to be more impulsive and prone to anger towards the villains, which was a magnification of his attitude towards them from the 1st game. While some believed his more erratic behavior in the 2nd game was because of Roxas' merging with him. The 2nd game chronologically, Chain of Memories already showed this pattern of behavior, as Sora was even worse then, due to his memories being manipulated, as well as the 'desire' to save Namine also being implanted into his brain. That had the adverse effect of making him very driven, as well as being too focused in saving her that a slight taunt was able to provoke him into a rage-filled young boy, as Larxene had found. In any case, the cracks found in Sora's cheerful demeanor was represented in Anti-Form, a form like that of the creatures he often fought, probably to represent that even underneath all those light, darkness still lurked inside him, and will consume him should he let down his guard.

Sample writing:
For some reason today, Sora found himself standing on the edge of the Loch, staring at the island on the middle amidst all the water around it. Of all the places he had seen and visited around Demeleier, he had found the Loch to be the one that reminded him of his home world. As well as the place that clicked with him the most.

After all, it is not every day you ended up stranded in an unknown rural world with no way out, being trapped in a vision of an idyllic village populated by fairi- Fae, that's what the other people around here called them, right? In any case, it really had been a while since he had ended up here, and the island's somber location on the middle of the water struck him as similar to that time when he still wished to explore the worlds around him.

Running his left hand through his spiky brown hair, he heaved a sigh as he turned back and started on the path back to home. Well, no use pondering about that for the umpteenth time today, he had a more pressing things to focus on.

You see, Sora actually promised someone that he'll help with finding a lost pet, and he couldn't be late to that meeting, could he?

Reaching the meet-up place, Sora donned his casual grin and relaxed pose, all the while closing the distance between him and the other person by walking. With a wave, he then said this sentence:

"Hey, ready to find your pet?"

Another Sample:
Sora gave a sigh as he plonked down on a seat inside the cockpit of his, well, actually, their Gummi Ship, looking a bit distraught after that bit of adventure he had went through in Agrabah, which basically amounted to Jafar getting out of the lamp and wreaking havoc again. Not only that, Riku was not there either, which was normal, considering the answers he had been getting so far were less than satisfactory to him. Letting out a groan of frustration, Sora seemed to be at the point where he's starting to get desperate with all the absence of a lead to his friend aside from that one event in the Land of the Dragons, and even then, that Nobody decided to interrupt him at the right timing

Man, things are just being bad so far. he thought to himself as he gradually stopped ruffling his own hair in frustration, which must've been a sight to anyone that actually saw him doing that. But he can't be down in the dumps, not now as he's not supposed to be the grumpy person who complains when things doesn't go his way, he's supposed to be the hero that everyone looks up to, nope. He's the one that has to smile and say that "everything will be better soon" to sad people so they can be happy again. With that in mind though, he still can't help but feel worried whenever he started thinking about his friends, how Kairi is now within the Organization's hold, as well as Riku still being missing, it is very justified for him to be a worrywart over his friend's well-being.

"Hang in there guys, I'm going to find both of you and we'll be together again, I'm sure of it."

Of course, cheering himself up once in a while is definitely one thing he does whenever he finds himself worrying too much about them. Kairi can take care of herself, and Riku's too strong to just go down like that. If they trust him, then its normal for him to return their trust by not worrying about them too much, which lead to him actually standing up from his seat, pumping his fists to the air and let out a yell.

"Alright, let's do our best today as well!"

That moment of being pumped-up was sort of deflated though, when he heard the sound of a throat clearing and found himself face to face with a certain Donald Duck, who had actually been waiting for him to move from the spot he was sitting on, since apparently Sora had absentmindedly sat on the weapon control seat, as opposed to his usual spot in the main seat.

"Eheheh... whoops."

Sample journal entry:
[The feed opens to a new person that actually looked quite composed.]

...hm. I think that did it!

[The person seemed to mutter to himself, before grinning and waving at the camera!]

Hey! Sorry to bother you guys, but I think I'm kinda lost, you see, I was supposed to be, y'know, home.

And the next thing I know I'm here with all these amazing looking things. [Some did creep him out though...]

Uh, anyways, if you could give me any directions, it would be appreciated!

[And with another wave, he ends the feed.]
