You might also not work well with Loopy because you hate Toreador.

That has nothing to do with it. This is a purely interpersonal communication issue.

Also, I don't hate Toreador players/Coords, I just don't like the clan when it comes to playing one.

It has often not come across that way.

I don't think you're trying to be hurtful, but you've told me that my character is stupid and that her plans should fail because she's a Toreador, and they suck.

There is a big difference between saying, "That Clan doesn't really appeal to me as a player" and "Toreador suck, and should just sit around Elysium not doing anything."

I dislike Toreador as presented by White Wolf. The clan has very little appeal to me. However, there's a difference between hating a clan, or even a character, and hating the player(s). Big difference. I keep the two separate.

I am, currently, part of the administrative body of the game. If I were just a player, I wouldn't have all of the above to deal with.

It's easy to say "All this over a game".

It's more then that...It's "the game".

It's an important hobby that many people draw a lot of their friends from, and who are socially connected in a way that a lot of people don't understand until they've been part of something similar.

I think that is a fairly reasonable approach. The only caveat I would add is that I hope you listen with open ears to other peoples opinions and use that to find any problems with what you are proposing.
