I’m home from Iowa and all is well there, after a harrowing few days working extra hard to get food to the animals through the blizzard and after. We had a foot of snow in not much more than 24 hours, then it grew cold and windy so the drifting was severe. I had to stay an extra day until my brother-in-law could get there from Illinois to plow us ( Read more... )

We have barely enough snow to dust a hobbit's foot hair, but I expect that will change. I can imagine what it was like on the prairies! I'm glad you're safe and sound. *hugs*

It was an adventure for sure, and at least a bit exciting in retrospect. And it was/is beautiful. Hopefully, you'll get yours, but maybe not quite so much. :)
