Ezio may have assassinated someone in a local city depending how Disney we want to keep this. Maybe he was unoriginal and copied his less Italian counterpart in stealing something. Maybe he did nothing worse than get involved in a bar brawl or pick the wrong pocket and get caught by the city guards.

Whatever he did, he was in Trouble, and definitely needed a place to lie low. What he didn't count on was getting lost in the path through the woods on his horse. With the sun rapidly setting, he needed somewhere to stay overnight where he wouldn't be found and gutted in his sleep.

Like... that conveniently placed tower? After tethering his horse to a tree, Ezio climbed the tower walls with relative ease, then slipped through the open window. Stepping into the room, he looked around warily. Would a tower like this even in the middle of nowhere even be inhabited?

Rapunzel had been amid her usual evening routine - that is, until she heard a noise. The pots and pans were left, and she strained her hearing. Nothing. The original noise had been... faint, and could have been imagined, but... there was no harm in checking, right?

Still, Pascal was given an encouraging place on her shoulder and the nearby frying pan was picked up for good measure. If... if it were ruffians, or thugs, or someone who had come for her, t-then...

Quietly, Rapunzel shuffled around the corner, slipping into a dark nook against the wall, looking over to the window - and just managed to stifle a gasp of shock? Horror? Surprise? She hadn't expected to actually see someone clambering in through the open window!

Mutely, Pascal indicated the pan, and Rapunzel nodded. W-Well, here goes nothing...

Oh, Ezio? By the time you've started looking around, you are about to receive a frying pan to the back of the head.

Even with his keen senses and assassin training, Ezio never saw it coming. The frying pan makes a satisfying dull clang as it cracks him over the head, and the assassin faceplants to the floor. As for being a ruffian or thug? Maybe. He's covered in weapons, especially the broadsword, knife, and throwing daggers at his belt.

The lineface is busy today. He's completely dismantled his gunblade, its contents and various parts spread across the table, and is working on maintaining it. It's a long process which includes oiling the bullet chambers and mechanisms, cleaning, sharpening the blade edges dulled with use and polishing the handle.

Only until he's satisfied everything is in perfect condition will he put it all back together and reload the bullets. Gunblades take a lot of care and attention to use, and keeping it up to scratch is quite possibly the closest thing Squall has to a hobby.

It's a little past lunch, and Jenny has a destination in mind: well, a hunch, a guessed destination, but she's pretty sure she's right. That is, finding Squall. Since he didn't show up to eat. Again.

So, she's made it her personal mission to go and talk to him. Really, the lineface needs to get some more socialising in. Some more food, possibly, but, reallllly he needs to stop being such a recluse.

Fortunately, her guess at what he's doing is right, and a smile creeps up onto her face as Squall's (least favourite?) person comes into the room, pulling up a seat as she does with her foot, and contently seating herself opposite.

"Squall?"

Squall doesn't even glance up from his work as she enters. He knows full well who it is, and he hopes that the less attention he pays to her, the quicker she'll go away.

"Need something?" Asked in the flattest of flat monotones. The least she could do was knock.
