Let me be your eyes ~ [ Five ] ~
Chapter is shorter than normal, but i couldn't help but stop it there.
“Let me pick out your clothes.” I yelled excitedly.
“eh why?”
“Because I want to!” I whined jumping up and down.
“ok ok fine! As long as you stop shaking my hand so hard.”
I stopped jumping and realized I hadn’t let go of her hand.
“Let’s go to the mall then!” I yelled and ran towards the bus stop.
The bus ride to the mall wasn’t that troubling, besides the fact that we had to stand up because no seats were available. I like to think it wasn’t such a troubling thing because I was able to hold Jaelin’s hand the whole time so she wouldn’t fall. Wait. Why would I…want to?
Oh god, I sound like a pervert.
We exit the bus and walked towards the mall. It got quiet after our conversation about the lady on the bus’ weird hat. I decided to shut up when the weird hat lady looked in our direction. Maybe she heard us.
Since it’s the weekend, even the outside of the mall was jam packed with people. I maneuvered Jaelin through them the best I could without accidentally running into someone. Still holding on to my hand, I could tell she was trying to stay as close to me as possible.
My attempts deemed useless as someone came out of the large glass doors leading into the mall, and ran right into Jaelin’s side causing her to lose her balance. Luckily I was still holding on to her hand so she didn’t fall.
“Hey! Watch where you’re going you-” I looked up, yes looked up, and immediately regretting yelling at the man. No, not man. He was a monster. Considering he was freakishly tall and buff and looked like he could brake me in half.

“What were you saying?” he cracked his knuckles.
I gulped, “I was just uhm…”
He cracked his knuckles on the opposite hand.
“I…uhm….OH MY GOD LOOK!” I pointed in a random direction.
“What?” he looked away from us.
Before they could realize I didn’t point at anything important, I grabbed Jaelin’s arm and ran inside the mall. I wasn’t sure if they were following us, so I ran inside one of the long hallways to the restrooms. Looking out from behind the corner, I didn’t see the freakishly tall, buff guy anywhere.
I sighed and relief.
“Kibum?” she sounded out of breath.
“Yes?” I squeaked.
“You’re a wuss.”
“I am not! You didn’t see him, HE WAS GINORMOUS!”I turned to her, shaking her shoulders to emphasize my point.
“Yea, yea. Sure.” she shrugged off my hands and stood up.
“It’s true!” I stood up with her.
“Key?”
Oh no. Please no. Only a few people call me Key, and it was my old friends that I really don’t want to see right now. I swear one “falls in love” with every single freaking girl he sees. Not to mention his best friend who’s trip over his own feet. The only tolerable ones were the super quiet one, and the overly cute one that looked like a girl.
Maybe I should just grab Jaelin and run. It worked last time.
“Key is that you?”
That voice… I turned around to face the bewildered male that just came out of the restroom.
“Jonghyun.”
“Hey man it’s been a while!” he walked towards me.
“Not long enough…” I muttered.
“What?” he put his arm around my shoulder.
“Nothing.” looking at Jaelin I could tell she was confused but didn’t want to ask questions. No help there. I shrugged his hands off my shoudlers.
“So how’s life been?” he started.
I sighed. Well, for one, I just got fired, but that’s not really my concern now because I’m taking care of this blind girl I found lying on the street. That about sums up the past 2 days.
“It’s great” I said giving a thumbs up. “ and you?” please don’t say anything of importance so I can leave…
“Oh, I just got myself a new boyfriend.”
Damn it.
“Really? Who?” I pretended to care.
“Onew.” he said proudly.
Onew? What the hell?
“OH! You mean Jinki?”
I looked at Jaelin, who was just standing there. If this keeps up I’ll be here for hours talking about his freaking life story and- wait, wait, wait. Isn’t Jinki a guy?
“Yup!”
“wow I thought you only like whor- I mean, girls.”
“Guess not.” he shrugged. “You should meet him. He’s waiting for me at the food court.”
“Oh that sounds exciting. But I really have to go.”
“Wait you didn’t introduce your, uh, girl…friend?”
“Jaelin, Jonghyun. Jonghyun, Jaelin. Ok leaving now. Have a nice life.”
Whoa. I just introduced her as my girlfriend.
“What's the rush key?” he asked while I was walking away pulling on Jaelin’s hand.
“Mhm. Yea, you too?” I yelled over my shoulder. Leaving him there alone and very confused.
Freaking playboy didn’t even have a chance to LOOK at her. I am so cool. I snickered to myself.
“Kibum, what was that all about?” she asked me.
“Nothing. Let’s go pick out your things now.” I smiled.
We walked around searching for the right store, until I just gave up and walked into a random store that basically only sells woman’s clothing. Then I realized how gay this is going to look. It’s only going to be me, going through all of the clothing. And it’s all woman’s clothes. Great, what have I gotten myself into?
I started looking through the clothes when suddenly everything went black, and I felt something covering my eyes.
