I've issued my first refund ever recently. It wasn't great but I needed to do it for myself. So now that I've paid the customer back I'm left with a giant pile of brown furs ( Read more... )

To me it's not so much about how amazing the suit looks. Nor what popular made it. To me it's the character that makes the suit alive. No matter how shitty it looks. Hell, my boyfriend now wears an old husky I traded for back in the day. It has so many flaws but that's what makes the suit and the character funny.

I agree. I mean amazing looking suits are always great to see, but watching someone bring a character, realistic or toony to life, is what I enjoy the most. So, it's not so much the suit as it is the suiter.

However, that being said I've always been a fan of suits that stand out. As much as I love the suits that are made by the bigger name builders, a lot of the time there is a certain style that goes along with them. And, exciting as it is to go "Oooo! I know who made that!"

I think it's even -more- fun to see a suit that catches my eye, and say "Wow, I wonder who made that?"

Let's see. Um. Oh, expressions are something I think a lot of people don't think about. I think the most common expression is just a typical happy face. Suits that have unique expressions are also a lot of fun too! -- Granted I enjoy wearing suits with the happy faces myself, but you get me, right? -- ;) Sorry, hope that wasn't too long winded.

For me, if its a well done work of art it doesn't matter if its toony or realistic to me. :)

What I look for in a fursuit is to first of all make sure that nopony is in it first!
