Where I come from, there's nothin' but islands. Only big strip of land ain't supposed to be lived on. Feels messed up, bein' in a place you can't smell the salt.

It's a lot easier for other kids to believe me than the adults. They think I'm lying and making up stories.

None of the adults I've met have really questioned me though...but I guess that's because most of them are aware of my magical abilities and of my accomplishments so far.
