I'm assuming you mean America...

Where I'm from, we sort of disbanded countries altogether... but, some people still celebrate it by shooting of fireworks and having outdoor cookouts and stuff.

I never really saw the big deal of celebrating any holiday, frankly...

They're basically explosives, but you're supposed to shoot them off into the sky or something. Then, when they blow up, they come out in different shapes and colors of light.
