It's a rainy day here.  How is it where you are?

Ooh, it's beautifully sunny here. I really ought to be in the pool, but I'm resisting getting wet, for some reason.

I just got an interesting message - from someone on Ancestry.com, wondering if some people they're looking for might be my ancestors, and it's actually possible. But the funny thing was, about 20 minutes before I got the message, I was glancing at the photocopies of the genealogy information that I have, and thinking that I really ought to start digging into it again. :-) This might help - if the people he's looking for are related, then I now have a town name in Germany, which I didn't have before.

Hi Flippet! *hug*

I should do something with my Ancestory.com account.

It's been thunderstorming mightily here all day. All I've wanted to do is sleep and veg out in front of the teevee.

I just stumbled across an episode of Designed to Sell that is featuring a friend of mine from the Guilford Alumni board as one of three siblings selling their childhood home. So weird to see him on teevee!

Hi All,

I had an email last week from a distant relative Down Under asking for any info on our common ancestors. I haven't done any family history since May last year, when I was spectacularly unsuccessful in finding any of the military records I was looking for. Even a trip to the Royal Artillery archives didn't really answer all the questions I had.

Oh, the ones at Kew? My mum is pestering me to go there for her and look up some distant relative army surgeon. I can't use the 'ew, South London' excuse anymore since I moved down here ;)

The place at Kew is nice. I was at Kew Gardens the other day. Getting there's a doddle.

Monster headache
no food that is appealing in the house

Now I have to decide if going to the store is worth getting out of the house. I'm sort of leaning toward yes. Not sure yet though.
