It's a rainy day here.  How is it where you are?

I don't usually get dehydration headaches. I have had enough to drink today. I think it has more to do with Tennessee summer weather. We've had horrid humidity and fluctuating temps. (hot, hotter, I'M ON FIRE!) A couple of other friends are also having similar problems. I was going to one of their houses for a WW marathon today, but neither of us were really up to it. I tried to take a nap, but never fell asleep. I've kept the curtains closed and the AC on all day. Hopefully it will be better tomorrow.

Storms on the way? I get awful barometric pressure headaches - about 12-24 hours before the weather changes, I'll get otherwise mysterious headaches that ibuprofen won't touch. It's really miserable at night, when I can't take the migraine meds that actually do help a bit (because they have caffeine).

Yes. Isolated t-storms forecasted but nothing is on the radar right now. When the headache started creeping in around 11am I immediately got a glass of coke. It felt like a lack-of-caffeine-headache. No amount of meds will touch a lack-of-caffeine-headache. Caffeine is the only cure. Obviously that wasn't what this was.

The only thing I've found for my pressure headaches is the Excedrin Migraine (or generic). And even that doesn't work every time, but it will usually at least take the edge off.

I don't consider the headaches 'true' migraines, which is why I never tried migraine meds before - they feel like a normal headache, basically, except I get the pain behind my eyes and through to the back of the head. No throbbing, or screaming pain, or light sensitivity - just pressure and and resulting crabbiness. ;-)

Hope you're feeling better soon - it's miserable.

I think my lethargy today is tied to the sudden drop in pressure with the storms. It's been awhile since we've had storms like this during the day (as compared to afternoon/evening) and I don't think my body knew what to do.

Hope it will be better tomorrow, too!

Yeah--those came through here earlier this week. It's amazing what changes in air pressure can do to you.
