A bunch H/G puritanical idiots. Seriously? I don't understand all the hate coming from SIYE. I never got the vibe in canon or in your fic that Luna was a trollop. SHE is just backstory. WTHeck with all the hostility over there?

I'm sorry all the hate killed your muse. Kindly tell her that I wish she would come back because I really like where she is taking you with the fic.

ANd if you need someone to bounce ideas off of I'd kindly lend my services. I'm currently unemployed and have plenty of time :)

I totally agreed with Dragyn's comment over there. They only seem to get their panties in a wad when Harry dates someone else. Ginny is fine to date other people because then Harry will get upset and Jealous!Harry is sexy, apparently. I am not disagreeing, but come on! Restless Heart Syndrome has Harry and Ginny with children by other people, for Pete's sake. And it is on Siye and made of awesome.

Please don't stop. I think that there are a lot more who want to read it than those few complaining. I agree with posting it here and linking up to OTP. I read OTP faithfully each week.

That awkward moment when a stranger writes you an essay in your LJ comments... pepperam July 25 2011, 05:40:57 UTC
Oh no! Don't be discouraged by these nutters! I'm normally a bit militantly H/G myself, but when it's for the plot or background of the story and it's as well written as this (or any of your fics) it's absurd to get pissy about it. Besides which, like you said, it was 6 months in school ( ... )

This has nothing to do with anything, really (other than, you know, my quest to totally spam Kezza's post with comments *waves at her*), but...do you mind if I friend you? 'Cuz we're sorta strangers, but I wrote for you, and so you're not really a stranger anymore, you know? (If not, not hard feelings, I promise).

That's my issue with it - it's not a productive comment. A productive comment I would appreciate - "You know it's so woefully ridiculous the Harry went out with Daphne Greengrass in sixth year - you need to explain that more or make the girlfriend a believable one."

Constructive.

"I hate Harry/Daphne as a ship because it's H/G all the way! You betrayed me!"

Not constructive ...

Here's hoping the muse revisits ...

I'm so sorry that everyone has treated you so poorly. I loved your story and don't understand all of the hostility directed towards you. SIYE has annoyed me several times recently, they have several stories where either Harry or Ginny has children with someone else and they had a Harry/Hermione story.

I can see where you are coming from, Harry did take Luna to Slughorn's party so I can see them dating. The hostility was amazing. I don't like Harry/Cho, but I didn't stop reading the series because of it.

I know I'm rambling, I just wanted to say I am a huge fan and I'm sorry you were jumped on like that.

It was a small number of hostilityness ... I'm not opposed to people leaving a less than favourable review but I do object to belabouring the point with non constructive commentary and I object to my muse taking a hike because of it.

Here's hoping she's back one day ...
