You'll whip the kids into shape, I know you will. You are a good teacher. The beginning of the year is always hard, you have to learn the kids habits and they have to learn yours. It will come. Hang in there.

Sorry things aren't going so well at school. It sounds like the problem with the kids is a sense of entitlement - like you said, they expect the answer to be handed to them instead of having to work for it. My hubby has the same problem with college kids.

SIYE is up now I just checked.

I think yeah, it's sense of entitlement plus lazy work ethic. If it wasn't my job to mak sure they learned something I'd say ... suffer. But it actually sort of matters cos I like to keep my job! Chapter is up on SIYE. :)

I went to SIYE to post a review and it doesn't recognize my password. So then I thought maybe I've never signed up, so I registered and got a new password. It still doesn't know me. I tried to review Kezza.
