The california and LA they showed me pictures of on the telly - back in the UK - had palm trees, sunshine, beaches, glamour.

Wish I could bottle up some of this Arizona sunshine and send it your way because I would. I think the weather is weird all over lately. Although we have the sun, it's unusually cold here - like in the 30's when I get up in the morning. Yup...definitely demonic activity going on...

Admittedly I've only lived in LA for 2yrs but it is very weird weather at the moment, rained all last night keeping me awake. Problem was that I figured being awake meant I could read fics or write some but my brain was too mentally tired lol.

I'll send warmer weather to you in the morning in exchange for some of your sun lol x

It snowed some here yesterday as well! I hadn't seen snow since I was in Chicago in 2006, and it was really impressive. It's ridiculously cold and I'm still in mild shock because normally short sleeves are appropriate through January, lol.
