The sun was beating down on her as Jubilee relaxed near the pool. She wasn't in a bathing suit, but she still lounged on the stairs head tilted towards the sun. Winter was oooovvverrrrr. Done, gone, and not back for another year. A California mall rat did not do well in the snow. A shadow fell over her blocking the sun from her face. "Come onnnnn. I was enjoying that."
"Time for dinner, kid." She cracked an eye open giving Wolverine a look. Instead of getting up she tugged on his hand trying to get him to sit down.
"Just a bit longer. I wanna soak this up while I can."
"You got all summer to do that."
"I know, Wolvie. There's nothing like the sun in spring though." She laid her head on his legs as he sat down next to her. "Just a little longer, Wolvie?"
"Sure, Jubes. Take your time."
