First anons to reply, put the fandom (and pairing if you like) in the subject line. Reply with 1-2 sentences. Try not to reply to yourself. If two anons reply to the same previous sentence, it's fine to continue either or both threads.
No time limit, since I don't know how many anons are around.
It begins (adapted from Yoshimoto's Newlyweds)
"The train slowed down and came to a stop. As the doors slid open, a blast of cool night air rushed into the car, and then the doors closed so firmly it seemed they had been sealed for all eternity."
After disembarking from the train, Myungsoo kicks at the kerb relentlessly, waiting for a taxi to pull up. It's been five years since he's been back to Seoul, and he's surprised at how little anything's changed.

His phone sits heavily in his pocket, its weight silently solid and heavy and unresponsive. Myungsoo runs a finger lightly over the screen, hand curling around the power button.

He looks at the crowd, at couples in matching tees and girls in sky-high heels. He sees tall guys, with their backpack and dark sunglasses and he thinks of Sungyeol.

I don't know wher--
His phone chimes once and Myungsoo jolts in his seat. There's message, from an unknown number. It can only be from one person. It's an address. He reads it out and he settles back in his seat, memorizing the number.

Sungyeol's number.

Myungsoo shakes his head, an apology etched into the lines of his face. "Manwondong," he says, the first place that comes to mind. "For now."
Reply
"Myungsoo?" And it is Sungyeol, staring at him through the rearview mirror.
Reply
"a taxi driver, Sungyeol?"
Reply
"Not all of us were gifted with features like yours," Sungyeol says and it is not bitter, not angry - it's painfully factual.
