Round Robin Challenge

First anons to reply, put the fandom (and pairing if you like) in the subject line. Reply with 1-2 sentences. Try not to reply to yourself. If two anons reply to the same previous sentence, it's fine to continue either or both threads.
No time limit, since I don't know how many anons are around.
It begins (adapted from Yoshimoto's Newlyweds)
"The train slowed down and came to a stop. As the doors slid open, a blast of cool night air rushed into the car, and then the doors closed so firmly it seemed they had been sealed for all eternity."

Taemin didn't know Kibum like Minho knew Kibum. The past few months, he had been oddly still, and Minho was just waiting for him to slip away again, in the dead of the night, when nobody could stop him or tell him what to do, or God forbid, tie him down to a stable, constant, routine life.

Taemin kicked the wall once, twice, a third time. "Why did you let this happen?" he asked, voice soft but venomous. "You've stopped him before, why didn't you stop him this time?"

Minho swallowed back an angry retort. It wasn't Taemin's fault Minho was so stupid to let his guard down, to actually believe Kibum was happy this time. He stayed quiet, silently apologetic, and Taemin sighed, scuffing his sneaker against the concrete.

Minho frowned, shoving his hands deep in his pockets and shrugging against the pillar they leaned against. "Maybe he fell asleep? You know Jinki," he laughed a little, then frowned.

I've called hundreds of times already, Minho wanted to say but dialed in Jinki's number instead. Taemin already looked like he was on the verge of a panic attack, and Minho didn't want to make anything worse.

"D'you think he just forgot his phone at home?" Taemin asked, then tried to laugh. "He wouldn't just... leave without telling us, right? Minho, right?"

"He forgot to charge it, probably," Minho shrugged. He looked Taemin over carefully. He was tired and cold and worried. "Maybe we should go home and wait."

"He got on the train, right? I mean we know that, they saw him," Taemin said. When Minho nodded, he continued, "so he has to be somewhere."
Minho nodded again, thinking about the stretches of track and endless options for station exits and transfers and taxis out of town. "He could be anywhere."

"I don't know."
Reply
"He will," Taemin said with a confidence that sounded forced, "He has to."
Minho smiled, heart clenching, and didn't say anything at all.
