Honestly, there are days when Hongki hates Jonghun. Days when he can't stand being around his friend, if only because it gets exhausting just being in the same room with Jonghun.
He's not sure when he started feeling like this, he just knows that one day, he woke up, went to the kitchen, found Jonghun there, and he was inexplicable, irrationally, utterly annoyed. He chalks it off as having woken up on the wong side of the bed, when the day after, he feels perfectly normal around Jonghun again, even opting to spend the entire day hovering around Jonghun, even as the latter attempts to shrug him off while writing a song.
"Jonghun, come on," he even whines. "Go shopping with me."
But then it happens again, and again, and again, randomly, on and off, always always completely irrational. He starts ignoring Jonghun whenever he starts feeling like this, starts pressing 'ignore' on his phone when he sees it's Jonghun calling; he even starts conveniently forgetting to tell Jonghun when there's an open Chocoball invitation to go out for

"We're best friends," Suzy snorted, throwing a handful of popcorn at Min's face without looking. "Now concentrate! If you don't watch this part, you won't get it."
Min shook her hair free of any kernels and gave Suzy a disbelieving look. "'Best friends'? Really now?" she sighed and threw a piece back at the girl beside her. "This movie's no good, it's boring."
"I swear, it's really good, just wait - auuugh!"
Min had pressed the eject button on the DVD player with her big toe and Suzy looked at her with such an offended look on her face that Min couldn't help but laugh. "Ugh, come on, let's talk about this!"
"Ugh, why, it's not even real," Suzy rolled her eyes and continued to eat from her popcorn bowl.
"But you guys are adorable," Min pressed on, "you look really good together. Plus you guys basically act like you're married."
Suzy snorted again. "Come on, he's just really easy to make fun of. Frog Prince," Min snorted back at the lame nickname - so couple-like of them - "Wait, I'm cold. Hand me my jacket
