Up on the roof, the air whistles past her ears and brushes her hair off her shoulders. She grips the bar separating the solid cement from twenty stories of air before the busy street below. It’s hard for her to look anywhere but down when she shakily manages to pull herself over the edge and stare down with the tips of her high heels peaking out over the ledge. Just one step, and she’ll be gone - no more Jessica Jung. No more disappointed parent’s, no more awful bosses, no more endless file pushing. Every morning, Woohyun wakes up and stares out of his window for at least ten minutes. Outside, there are people. From his window, they look like ants. Sometimes he presses his finger over a spot on the glass and pretends he smashed the person under his finger, but they always move. So quickly, they're gone again. He wonders where they go. He's never been out there, never seen any of them or spoken to them. Woohyun's experience with the world extends to the edges of his room ( ... )

oh my god anon the time i waited to finally use that prompt is officially way, way worth it. i don't even read infinite but this was lovely. ): i love this au, it leaves so much to the imagination (of course, with the downside of wanting you to PLEASE FINISH IT). woohyun's character is lovely, you know he's trying hard to be impartial towards his situation by the way he reacts to discovering there is another! human! next door! ):

it was an amazing prompt, anon, i just had to write something for it :( my brain jumped from small room to cell and this just...happened. i may finish it, though i'm honestly not sure what's going on but i'm really glad you liked this ♥ especially since you don't read infinite!
