Henry sighs. "You don't mind me having Ryeowook over, do you?" He balances a plateful of cheese sticks in one hand (how unromantic, Amber rolls her eyes, but she knows, deep down, she'd love to eat those rolls of fat and oil) and two bottle of beer in his other.

"Not at all," she says, not looking up from the Kids's Almanac she's been reading all day (how retarded, Henry snorts, but he thinks, deep down, he'd love to know what songs Obama danced to at his wedding, too).

He bites his lip and is about to open the door of his bedroom when he sees Amber's puffy eyes flicker a bit in the dim light of the lamp behind her.

"What's wrong?" he asked his flatmate. Well, if the basement of the apartment building they lived in could be considered a flat.

"Nothing, go have fun with flippy hair," she laughs, and he doesn't notice the missing humor in it.

"Thanks, you're such a bro!" he says and raises the beer in his hands, mistaking Amber's grimace for an approving grin (so stupid, Amber groans, even though she loves that dumb face

you should continue this, anon! :( i like the idea of amber being the one falling for henry while he's just totally oblivious to everything and hanging out with ryeowook. oh and they're roommates in this, it's adorable ;__;
