"But it's Easter" should be translated thus (imo): "It's a widely celebrated holiday by people who don't even claim to be Christian, so you should use it as an excuse to be lazy and buy/eat lots and lots of very yummy chocolates."

And chocolates? Not so good for the K-who-is-plumpish. I haven't had a single piece of Easter candy this year, and I don't miss it. (Although I may go snag a bag of jelly beans on the after-Easter sale.)

I *nearly* got up for Church on Sunday. A couple of my favorite hymns are Easter ones (I'm particularly partial to Hail Thee Festival Day and ones like that), and there's something...comforting about the familiar ritual.

But I ended up sleeping in rather later than I'd planned.

Y'know, I didn't. I had the best of intentions, I even put on workout wear, but I was kinda creaky from Friday.

Maybe today.

It's surprising sometimes who will be all "Yay Easter!" and who won't. Try autocraing and event on Easter weekend and you'll find out.

Grats on the new phones, even if they can be a PITA.
