Snap-together flooring, as in tongue-and-groove? herveus and family put a fair amount of that in a couple of years ago. (I helped, but only with one room.)

Hope the cats don't drive ya nuts, and thanks in advance for being part of the SCAdian Express Ground team for my coat. (I'll likely try to swing by a week from tomorrow.)

I heard that and found her so incredibly grounded. I drove around for an extra five minutes just listening. I have at least one of hers, “My Dream of You” if you want me to drop it in the mail or if you want to have lunch sometime soon.

I helped my dad lay a pergo-like floor once. The trick was to not start with the same size piece every time, so that the joins weren't all in a row, or even all in a row at every other board, if that makes any sense at all ( ... )

And could I possibly say the word "interesting" more often?

Oy. At least I can blame work, and not the kids... :-D

Yeah, we have a cool chevron-y pattern on the floor now.

Lots of thoughts on the interview, more later.

We laid a whole 9 x 12 room of the stuff.. what do you need? what questions can we answer?

It really wasn't that hard to do at all.

Well, as it happened, we didn't come up with any questions, but you're right - it wasn't hard at all! (Except on my hands... they hurt for a day or so after!)

Very sad to hear that Nuala passed :-( but was nice to hear her on Fresh Air and on CDC radio. I recommend starting with "Are You Somebody?" and then go to "My Dream of You." Happy to translate any of the Irish you run across; not sure if there were footnotes added to American additions? Amazing woman.
