Well I just finished watching 'Roman Holiday' with Audrey Hepburn and Gregory Peck and I liked it. I'll write up a tiny summary but if you don't want to know what happens at the end don't read it.
I like how it was kind of just a simple enjoyable film. Innocent and fun. Audrey Hepburn was so young and fresh, and she made me laugh a bunch of times. Especially at the beginning when she's acting drunk cause of that stuff the doctor gave her to help her sleep. And something about Gregory Peck makes me find him attractive. You know, not Marlon Brando hot, but attractive. Basically they [Joe and Ann] go around Rome doing all the things Princess Ann wants to do, but normally would not be allowed to do because she's a princess. Joe is a news reporter who thinks he'll land a great story on her if he goes along. He knows she's the princess but she doesn't know about him being a news reporter and in the end they fall in love and Joe can't print the story. I liked Joe and Ann together their romance was sweet and short. And at the end when he's leaving the press conference and he looks back and she never comes it made me sad. Real Casablanca moment, like "We'll always have Paris", except this time Rome. It was obvious they wouldn't end up together, it was how that movie had to end. Still I felt bad.
