KPF, I really like your ending, how you showed what a nice kid Mike was by helping Ben pick up his books instead of laughing at him. I bet you would do the same!

Wow what a great story, and really detailed illustrations! I enjoyed this. Mike sounds like a very good friend to Ben. It's great that he helped Ben with his books, and I bet he helped him feel better too. Thanks for sharing this story with us!

My favorite panels are the ones where Ben is yelling "Help" and the books are flying around. I think you really captured the chaos of that moment. I also really like the one where there's a close up of Mike's face, you did a good job of capturing his feelings about people laughing about his friend.

I've been in Ben's situation and wish that I had a friend like Mike!

As your Mom said, your storytelling has really made a lot of progress, even since the last regular season of LJ Idol. This could have easily just been a story about Ben falling and people being mean, but instead it became a tale of a friendship, and I really liked that.

Why I made the teacher miss the whole thing is because I didn't feel like making him be part of the story. I'm glad you liked it.
