1. Tottenham Hotspur, Real Madrid

2. Tottenham Hotspur: The arrival of Mauricio Pochettino, which hopefully signals the end of the constant carousel of managers the club has been on for the past decade or so. The new signings - a right back! A LEFT BACK! a replacement for old man Friedel (I love you, Brad, but time has finally caught up with you). Last season’s acquisitions finally getting a chance to prove their worth in a system tailored to their strengths, and the time to grow into it. Better man management skills all around. The long awaited return of TACTICS!
Real Madrid: Cementing this group of player’s firmly into the club’s vaunted history with a couple more trophies, while simultaneously developing a new generation of top notch players. The arrival of James is thrilling, he’s already partnering well with Bale and Cristiano up front. Also: Super down with the pink kits!
Generally: The return of The Lord of Trolls to the first division. Welcome back, Joey Barton.
