The End: For Now

I've really enjoyed the last 8 years of posting in this journal. I've written a lot, and I think I've come quite a ways since the high school years.

I just used http://www.ljbook.com/ (thanks to aralna who commented on nyren's journal) to create a pdf of my journal (and I really enjoy the pdf - it's quite ( Read more... )

Wel, I can't say I'm happy with the news. It'll be unfortunate to lose your content from my Friends page, but hey. I'm on Facebook, too.

Email/chat/get-in-touch with you soon!

oooh- I've not successfully archived my LJ since early 06. I have been waiting for this convergence of someone else being happy with an archive program.
Does it keep comments in with the posts? This is important to me as it is the complete picture.
Speaking of pictures, does it maintain icons/images as well?
I used to put my journal into the uber-simple view, export, and print. Kept all the good stuff and removed attractive, but space wasting formatting.

As for keeping your LJ- you do what you have to do. I invariably prefer finding you on AIM than finding out what's up in LJ for you.

What darktowhead said above. I'll miss reading your exploits on my f-list. But I also understand about keeping up/ wanting to get away from SUP.

*hugs* I'm BanditaofLove on the IM. Feel free to ping me!

You'll be missed. Hopefully we'll keep up other ways...otherwise we'll always have Arisia.

Does it e-mail the file? If so, you must be a paying member, because they don't give you the option of another email address...

no, you have to click on the link and download it directly to your computer, once the file is done being created.

I'm not a paid member (and never have been) and I've got a pdf of my entire time.
