my postal workers know me, too, cept the place is always PACKED. it's not uncommon to wait 30 minutes in line at 1pm here. they recognize me because i'm always sending things overseas, and i'm the only nice person in line. i hate all the lawyers, bankers, and dentists around that post office.

they're always so sweet to me, and on good days, i can hear a choice tale of stupid businessmen.

there's one lady working there who's the biggest, most unhappy grouch you'll ever meet. well, once, she snapped at me once for presuming to begin walking toward her before she called me (she said she wasn't finished with her customer, even though he had moved away from the counter and was fishing for his car keys). the lady who usually waits on me said, "nuh-uh! don't talk like that to my girl." the look on the other woman's face was priceless.

that was...awhile ago. i try to go later in the afternoon, to avoid ms. grumpypants, and i've not had a problem since. other than her, they're all great at my place, too! amazing what a little niceness will get you, huh?

she's gorgeous (this pic really doesn't do her justice). very artistic, too, and pretty darn smart for her age. also, she's hysterical; i can't not laugh when she's around.

i am actually literally terrified of the day she realizes she likes boys...
