Notes: Sorta spoilers for KH3D? Set after the series, or how I hope for it to be. I'm a bit rusty at drabble writing ha ha.
He should apologize, shouldn't he?
Or maybe he shouldn't. How much of his actions were really his own? At least some of them were. At his core, unfortunately, he really is an honest person. That honesty is part of what did him in. Accepting a situation for truth, rejecting anything that seemed like a "lie". Right now, as he stands on his own watching everyone recuperate and reunite after that battle, he quietly rejects the lie that his actions weren't his own. They were influenced, yes. But they were still his.
He should apologize.
He doesn't. He just stands on his own, watching someone nearly fall over in relief over two of the most important people in his life being right back where they belong. There's too much to say, and too many people to say it around. So he himself stands on his own. At least, until that other person finally pulls away and approaches him. There's so much noise, but it feels quiet between the two of them.

The other clears his throat, awkwardly. "Teal. Looks better on you."
The words finally come, although he has to drag them- thick and choking- out from his throat. "I guess I should thank you for that."
For the first time in years, Isa and Lea smile at each other.
