|D You just thought I was dead! <3 Got my editor to give a look at the prologue, where the notes are longer than the chapter!
Put on some "Destati" and have a read. :3
Prologue --DIVE TO HEART--
Everywhere--everywhere, the darkness has spread.
Relying on a little bit of light, I'm [1,2] still walking.
A small voice--and then, someone's worries.
I found it!
The remaining time is scarce. As for myself, I already can't turn back.
However, because it's not urgent yet, I'm not afraid.
The door has yet to be closed.
Saa, try to walk around. Can you come here?
Your sleeping power inside of you--this power will take shape--the form is the power given to you.
Therefore, the light shines within you.[3]
But, the more you approach the light, the greater your shadow becomes.
However, don't be afraid--and, never forget.
As for yourself, you hold the strongest weapon of all.
Therefore, never forget--
The one to that door is you.
Saa, go.
Therefore--the door of fate has begun to open.
[1] The version of "I" used here is "boku," which is only used by four or so of the major characters, and only one or two of whom are in the first Kingdom Hearts. "Boku" is generally seen as used by guys, but can be used by girls, such as Rukia from Bleach and Souseiseki from Rozen Maiden. Most other male characters use the "manly" pronoun, "ore." (._.; This is one of my favorite things to ramble about) In short, the person speaking is intentionally left vague but has a particular speech pattern which will be recognizable later. I'll mark when a male character uses something other than "ore," since it's not the norm.
[2] The novels have parts in first person that suddenly interrupt third person omniscient narration. These soliloquies will be italicized, such as "Mystery Speaker" now.
[3] Literally "The light in your origin shines."
