Makou be damned, I'll own your asses...

Setting: Traverse Town
Characters: Rufus, the Turks, and potentially the heroes gang (Leon, Aerith, Yuffie, and Cid)
Status: OPEN WOOO!

A wet kiss and a saddened whimper. It depressed Rufus to see Perdita like this. His precious Dalmation girl had always been so full of life and energy...and his father's damn dog knocked her up, and she was confined to lying on the doggy bed, belly full of unborn puppies.

Rain, rain, go away...

As he sat on a cushion beside his darling dog's bed, the amateur politician looked out the window, watching as a drizzle fell on his beautiful city. His city. His father, the oh-so-great Josef ShinRa, could be heard laughing from his bedroom. Like every night, after a lazy day at work, the obese geriatric hobbled up to his bedroom, called his chefs to make him dinner, and ate while watching TV. Rufus could hear the comedian his father was watching, and was thoroughly disgusted with it; the topic being government corruption.

Corruption in Traverse Town, haha. Like saying water in an ocean. Their leader was a lazy, good-for-nothing bastard who left his wife and paid others to raise his son. That was all Josef ShinRa really did with anything or anyone: pay. Money was no object, he gave it away to solve all his problems. It was too generous, too wasteful, too useless...or so Rufus saw it. These people, if they weren't given everything on a silver spoon, they'd be more grateful, more willing to serve. Traverse could be powerful and strong if it weren't full of lazy, emotional pricks who didn't know how to truly live. Especially all these damn refugees.

A rumble of thunder shook the ShinRa home, the biggest home in Traverse Town. And to think, his father almost gave this away too. "Rufus, my boy, we don't need this big a house! With the influx of immigrants, they need basic shelter more than we need luxury!" He hated the idea of these people being 'immigrants'....it sounded so permanent. These people, scattered from the universe's furthest corners, all landed here and imposed upon them that they be helpd. Again, if they knew how to truly live...

Another blast of thunder, much louder this time, and Perdita had nearly climbed into Rufus' lap, trembling in that odd unjustified canine fear. Although, he supposed if he was a dumb dog that had been practically raped and was now full of bastard puppies, he'd be emotionally unstable too. Gently petting her head, Rufus sighed and continued to watch the rain, wishing things would change, blocking out the sounds of his father's Santa Claus laughter.

(And yes, Rufus' father's name is borrowed from the lovely Stalin.)
