Jordan, your vagueness escapes me (or rather it seems vague because I've kept my head out of the political arguments for the past few weeks because I've been dealing with other immediate problems), so to be perfectly dumb and just plain straightforward: are you talking about Bush?

I'd really like to hear who YOU--of all people I respect you opinion greatly in these matters--are going to vote for in November, and why. Feel free to post or respond with long and in depth discussion, I'd like to hear, because I have mixed reviews all around. ...the only thing I'm certian of is that I'm not voting for LaRouche :)

Well, yes, I was referring to bush, in addition to the fact that I thought this was just a good quote.

Right now, I'm voting for Kerry. When he has a consistent viewpoint, I tend to agree with him. And bush needs to be replaced. When you do a bad job, you get fired. End of story.

Bush has consistently stepped on the separation of church and state (this recent attempt at a constitutional amendment being just one example)as well as the environment. Further, the patriot act shows a disturbing tendency to seize at more power and strip away more rights when americans are scared and willing to make sacrifices in return for 'strong leadership'. Cheney giving government contracts to his own companies, who then proceeded to waste the money frivolously and gleefully "because they'll keep paying for it," was just icing on the cake.

So in the end, I want him gotten rid of. And I don't consider Kerry to be worse, and therefore he'll do.

if i may insert without upsetting Jordan, yes he is posting this reffering to bush, bush is god-fearing pious, fighting a foreign enemy, and trying to appear the protector of the free world/USA from terrorism.
To add my own commentary, Weather it is a fair comparison to make him out to be a tyrant, i don't know, course neither do i care. I'll be voting for Carrie simply cause i'm disappointed at how Bush has run things(all tyrany aside)
