So, a survey to the readership:

Is it odd to take a shower once a day?

How often do you people shower?

I ask because my dad just asked me why I shower every day, and it was the first time I've ever had to field that particular question. My answer was "Umm...hygiene?". But I had always figured that was a normal interval for self-cleaning.

Hm, I do it at least once a day. Occasionally twice. Occasionally, when I'm lazy, I'll skip, but I try not to go more than 36 hours.

Good answer, though.

O_o What a strange and bizarre question. Your dad's a fucking freak, Jordan. If you don't shower every day, won't you, you know, start to reek?

Of course, I don't shower if I'm not going out of the house, but that's just because I'm a lazy, lazy person.

I shower once a day to keep from being smelly (sweat builds up even if you doo it in smalle amounts throughout the day, at least it does for me). Sometimes I will shower twice if I worked out or did hard manual labor and I am going somewhere with people (I mostly do it as a common courtesy to those around me)

Wha? Show-er? What is this shower you speak of?
Damn. Forgot to program hygene.

My grandfather once asked me what I was reading for. Then he made me watch him gut a fish. My family blows.

Ummm...
Taking into account certain things I am now aware of but can never disclose, that thought is horrible.
But we can revel in our non-legally recognized brotherhood.
"We're two of a kind!"
