I was just flipping idly through my friend's old diary, over at free opendiary, and saw a note in response to one of his entries by my girlfriend, and between the two of them, it made me think of something. I've already bounced this off everett, but I felt like sharing it further

Didn't you get the memo? Humans are God's reality TV show. We are the morons that Gods say< "How can beings degrade themselves just for fame." They point, they laugh, they scoff, they even play drinking games at our expense. Because let's be honest, after a long eternity's work, God just wants to sit down and watch something that would not challenge him or make him think, and we are it.

I did not mean to imply that God was the Moron. What I was aiming at wat the humanity were the morons, and God simply watches our crazy and wacky antics for amusement.

I had considered two possibilities: That god created us because he wanted to be loved by someone, or that god created us because he wanted someone to exercise power over

What if God never intended on creating us and did create another collection of gods for his company and they were the ones who decided to create us? Maybe they thought God wasn't good enough b/c he was too perfect? Maybe God isn't as powerful as he thinks. Maybe he tried to create Man in his own image and then failed and now is dealing with the consequences of watching us destroy everything else he created?

Okay, that's all I'm adding for the time being.
