Don't watch it! At least watch the original first. I couldn't stand the American version.

If you like i can burn them all onto a Data DVD for you I have all the BBC episodes . And Martinjdekay is right the american version was so bad even Harvey Kietel as Gene Hunt couldnt save it. they cancelled it 5 episodes into the first season

i admitedly came to it late but the joys of p2p networks and pan uploads i have the whole series bbc cut (with nothing cut out and all the bad language left in)

Yeah, I saw it way back and caught it again in recent BBCA reruns (going into Ashes to Ashes) where suddenly Gene had subtitles, I found it hilarious to say the least.

i think it is one of the best written tv shows on at the moment. I heard one of the writters decribe it as "Doctor Who for people with adult brain function" :-D
