Whatever gets you through it really. I'm using it to numb the pain personally, but I expect to be still coherent enough to rant later with everyone else on Tanous' lj.
Surprisingly, 9 of those didn't happen. There wasn't even one Arwen scene the whole episode! I took a sleeping pill to knock me out, but it wasn't necessary because I'm not depressed. I am very sleepy, though.

Yeah, it was a scatter-gun approach, hoping to hit a few items to allow for some mild inebriation, but not expecting everything on the list. I still haven't been able to write a coherent comment on the ep (family are getting in the way ;-), but hope to do something later tonight, when things quieten down.
My username is a nod to Dorothy Dunnett's 'Lymond' saga, where I first became acquainted with the ideas of angst, h/c and UST, before the terms found a home on the internet. Even though the character in the stories has a fairly rotten time of it and ultimately doesn't end well, I've always liked the name. So I co-opted it as my nom-de-plume online for fanfic...which I have spectacularly failed to publish, and it's turning into my fannish ID instead.
I didn't realise there was a naval hero of the same name - will do a search now that you've mentioned it :-)
