And one more thing: in Flanders (dutch-speaking Belgium), where Sinterklaas is also celebrated, his dapple is called Slecht Weer Vandaag. This is from an old joke where Sinterklaas asks a Piet what the horse is called, but the Piet mis-hears and, embarrassed to ask the goodholyman to repeat himself, answers "Terrible weather today, Sinterklaas."

I still don't get why two continents are named after some guy's first name. I mean, apart from the fact Vespuccia sounds like a lady-parts disease.
