My friend moved out to Dubai quite a while back, and so far as I can tell, she likes it... but says she has no plans to stay long term as she thinks she'll get bored of it in a few more years.

Oh I have no plans to stay long term either. If I can't find some like-minded individuals, I will probably be climbing the walls within a month.
