I remember seeing this flick back when I was 7 and had to stay home sick. Kirk Douglas both terrified and fascinated me. Sigh. That's probably when it started.

I just...this was supposed to be a cracky little fandom about Stockholm Syndromed-monks and the vikings who love them, but now out of nowhere we've got deleted scenes with Athelstan talking about his 4 brothers and his sister and...I don't even know what I'm feeling anymore. Goddamn it, History Channel.
