I've yet to hear any Dresden Dolls songs, let alone Ms. Palmer's solo work. What DD album would you recommend as a good introduction?

I would say their self titled one, if you are looking at DD. I am going to try my best to get my butterflies to learn every word of "Sing" so they will chill out during my next audition. Fabulous song! I am also in love with "Coin Operated Boy". It is terrific fun to listen to.

She had mentioned being excited to watch as the strings were laid down for her "Who Killed Amanda Palmer" album. Just watching them take on the songs got me all choked up (this must have something to do with my deep need to play cello but deep mental block regarding reading music. I only seem to learn by ear, sadly). I would have been a wet puddle of a happy, gooey mess to be able to listen to that happening if that had been me.
