in other news i've narrowed my synth search to 2 synths. Either the Nord Lead 2x, or the Waldorf Q.

any ideas on which would be a better choice?

lol from what i've seen they are both raver synths XD

however they both also have teh capability for noiiizee too. although i've only used my nord lead emu for raver applications thus far XD~

if only there was a q emu :S

eh, all synths are raver synths

in all honesty, ive wanted a Q for a long time and since its more expensive i would probably get that first anyway.

NORD is the raver synth.

WALDORF Q is one of the most versatile synths on the planet. I can be ravey, dirty, filthy, noizey, clean, or just plain fucking UGLY. I sold keyboards and pro audio gear for close to 2 years at Guitar Center (the biggest chain in the US). Get the Waldorf. The Nord is a sad imitation of teh Q.

I will hopefully upload my vocals from "Hearttrigger" for you tonight, BTW.

how can the nord lead 2 be a "sad imitation" of a synth that didnt come out untill 2 years after it did? 4 years if you count the NL1.
