...While just checkin e-mail and Bullshiting online in the F'in library, I stumbled into the movie rental room, (no really, I was talking to someone and managed to trip over a cord and fall into the movie rental room) where I found and then rented two of my favorite movies that I don't own. Ghost World & The Rules of Attraction boo-yah,

Rules of Attraction is great! Ever read the book? Ellis is one of my favorite authors. My favorite book remains to be American Psycho. I'm also a big fan of that movie.

I read the book this summer, and I must say that knowing the movie is based on the book, it makes the movie so much weaker, cuz the book was so fucking amazing. They down played alot of stuff in movie that made the book great, little stuff,like by not having it in the eighties.

Another thing that bothered me was the down playing of all the relationships of the characters, in the book you got a sense that all the characters had some sort of 'romantic' relationship, didn't get that sense in the movie.

but as a stand alone movie its good.

I'm waiting for Ghost World to come in as a used dvd, and then I'm going to buy it! :D
