If I wouldn't be shot on sight I'd give Obama a hug. I'm happier now than I can say and I totally agree with you.

...I'd have voted Obama too, but given the longrun of US pres' it's likely to be a bit scary. Am impressed that the final fling for the party was between a woman and a black guy (discounting obviously old white guy), also that not only did neither use the sexual equality/race card to get ahead. I agree that defeat was accepted with true dignity and I look forward to seeing what comes.
