Things are going pretty good at the moment.  I spent a very lovely couple of days with morbid_sparks last week where we, along with her mum and et-muse, went to see Avenue Q.  I honestly can't remember the last time I laughed that hard

Mum has a tens machine for her back and she says it's frankly better than morphine at times!

That's good to know because I've been wondering just how effective they really are.

No, they can be very effective. You have to place them right, but yeah, Mum uses it basically throughout the day and night when her back's bad, and it means she gets some sleep.

BTW the foot pain she was having last week? Broken metatarsal.
