The End of The Year
1. What did you do in 2012 that you'd never done before?
Be hooked up to an IV.
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I didn't have any, and probably won't for this year.
3. How will you be spending New Year's Eve?
As always, I was home with the rest of my immediate family.
4. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Nope.
5. Did anyone close to you die?
No.
6. What countries did you visit?
Didn't travel.
7. What would you like to have in 2013 that you lacked in 2012?
Job? Please?
8. What date from 20112 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
12/21/12, the day the world didn't end, to the surprise of no one.
9. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Nothing.
10. What was your biggest failure?
Once again, my job hunting turns up nothing.
11. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Um... let me get back to you on that.
12. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
Mitt Romney? Paul Ryan? WOULD YOU KINDLY try to conduct yourselves properly? That was supposed to be an election, not a circus!
13. Did you suffer illness or injury?
I think I'm sick with something right now. Though I'd be damned if I knew what.
14. What was the best thing you bought?
Being mostly broke, I didn't really buy anything of interest this year.

16. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Xenoblade: HOLY SHIT! Somebody made a massive, detailed jRPG that's actually fun to play, AND it's on the wii AND the US is getting it? Yes please!
17. What song will always remind you of 2012?
REM - It's The End Of The World As We Know It (And I Feel Fine) because well... do I need to spell it out?

i. happier or sadder? Unchanged.

19. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Working, seriously, it's been 3 years already, would the economy lease stop sucking enough for me to have a job again.

21. How did you spend Christmas?
At home, with family.

As I find myself repeating every year I am over the weight limit for such things.

I... I actually didn't watch much TV this year.

Soon I will be Invincible by Austin Grossman a loving oad to comic book superheros... which I need ot go back and finish reading.

T-shirt, sweatpants, sneakers A.K.A The only thing I can wear and not make people want to kill themselves more than I already do. Fat and fashion don't mix, folks.

Try as hard as you can. It won't change the outcome, but you can at least comfort yourself with the cold, empty fact that you wasted plenty of time and energy by futility trying to change things. and that's what really matter, right?
