The weather. It was 108F in the Valley yesterday, and not much cooler over here. Today was another scorcher. The irony is, as much as the heat is killing me, it's only when I'm standing in direct sunlight that I'm happy. So it's either be hot and miserable, or really hot and not so miserable.

Fight the sun with traditional Arab dress. A white dishdash and a water soaked head wrap works really well.

Alternatively, try a parasol.
