I voted today. I got there about an hour after they opened the polls at my city hall, and the guy monitoring the line said those of us there at 1-ish picked the right time. There were about 250 people waiting in line when they opened. And a lot of them were old. Go figure :P ( Read more... )

I'm going to be a poll worker on the 4th and when I heard 85% turnout expected I about fainted. I think the polling place can handle about 30 to 60 an hour and their were 800 registered voters 6 years ago. I tell you I don't know how I get suckered into these things.
