I really want to see "Vivacious Lady"! I caught part of it on TCM but wasn't able to see it all, and it's so difficult to find!

I know! Actually, the first place I saw it was on the Fox Movie Channel, they play old movies sometimes, but I haven't seen it on there in a long time.

Definitely going to check out, 'Having Wonderful Time.' It looks adorable just from the photo. I'm going to add 'Vivacious Lady,' to that list as well, since I'm trying to see more Ginger Rogers movies.

It's so nice to see "Everybody Sing" on this list - not enough people know this movie. I love Fanny Brice in this! ^_^

"Vivacious Lady" is definitly on my 'to see' list.

And I second the post above: "Bringing up Baby" belongs here too. ^_^

Yeah, I love Everybody Sing. Most of Judy Garland's pre-Oz movies aren't well known.

A lot of her early movies are rather forgetable, but I've always thought that "Everybody Sing" is very charming and has a great supporting cast. Alright, so the blackface number is very tasteless by today's standards, but it's still an impressive vocal performance (and not as bad as the blackface number in "Babes on Broadway", in my opinion).

It does have an amazing supporting cast. Allan Jones, Fanny Brice, Billie Burke...
Yeah, a lot of people get freaked out by blackface. Especially if they're new to old movies and they haven't seen a lot of it before.
