In my continuing efforts to change a few things, I thought it would be good to put up a post here.  The sculpture I've been working on has been progressing, albeit very slowly.  I'm still somewhat intimidated by the paws, but I got a start on them last night.  If anyone thinks that they have some good reference art that could help me out there, ( Read more... )

I think Kristen's digital camera is schnazzier than my digital camera is, but I can take pics too if you like. As for D&D, my advice is to do what feels right to you. If the DM is not enjoying the game, the game will suffer a lot. Loneliness ... well I wish I had some answers for you there, but I'm looking too.

*nods* I'm still trying to figure out what exactly feels right for me currently. I think people are still enjoying the game as much as they are because of the group we have there, and how well they all get along.

Yep! I'll bring my camera over on Sunday no problem. ^_^

And honestly, hun, even when you swear up and down that you think the game wasn't as good... we all do enjoy it. I'm just glad you're so determined to try and make it through though. *hugs* Thank you so much! And I meant what I said. I'm really good about not letting external knowledge affect my own character's knowledge, so if you need any help with anything, even someone to pull stats together for you, or research maps and whatnot or even print stuff out for you, I'd totally be willing to help. ^_^

Wewt, thanks!

Hehe, well I try to avoid that because it's no different than reading the end of the book before the middle; it ruins the experience, the ride for you. I may have you at some point do a little work for me that I know will come in handy eventually. :)

What kind of references do you need? Miniatures, pictures, or other?

One idea could be that when we exit the place we are at we somehow ended up in another part of Faerun all together.

Undrek'thoz or T'lindhet might be nice.

Or if we get to the Priate Isles, there could be so much fun there.

Or The Mother of Mists, if we want to wind up, again, in the middle of nowhere.

Pictures are what I was looking for. Ones that can help me get a good grasp/angle on musculature around the forepaws specifically. Hindpaws I don't think will be as rough.

That thought did cross my mind, along with a few others. I don't think it will solve the ultimate problem though, only delay it a little longer.
