How much are you allowed to really interact with customers? I would expect in a place like that you are expected to make nice even with the worst of 'em?

How much liberty do you have w/ your customers? Must you nicey-nicey, or can you flip a little sass at em'? Could you at least give them the HairyEyeball? StinkEye? LongFace of Doooom?
