So I "The Angels Take Manhattan" was really bad. So bad that it might be the last Doctor Who episode I watch. That's partially a lie but I'm not going out of my way to watch the rest of this season. I watched bits of the last season (6), and honestly thought it was pretty terrible. I have no desire to see the current season, and everything I hear about it makes me want to saunter in the opposite direction. It sucks, because I'm kind of a New!Who fan up to this point!... but guuuuuh, the sexism, queerbaiting and general incoherence is below my entertainment threshold. At this point I'm kind of side-eyeing anyone who's enjoying the show without feeling compelled to tack a "...but" onto their declaration of approval.

Season 6 was good about half way through then it went down hill real quick. I really want to like and continue watching Doctor Who but the way things are going right now, I just can't. It's just so bad.

Yeeeeeeeeep.

I had enjoyed most of Season 5 with only minor complaints, but mostly enjoyed it - but it's become this massive perpetually-rolling snowball of shit, and much of Season 5 is even awful know that, well, I've noticed what I've noticed.

And it's hard at this point to understand how anyone who's basically not "dudebro who likes to pretend he's intellectual by watching sci-fi instead of sports" enjoys this show without a "...but"
